Nebula Filter CLS 1.25-inch: Explore Scientific Nebula Filter 1.25" CLS Range from 436nm to 536nm with peak at 488nm. Transmission 98.3%

This is a general-purpose light-pollution reduction filter designed for observing the broad range of deep sky objects including nebulae and galaxies. The CLS does a good job of increasing contrast, providing a darker sky background.

Nebula Filter H-Beta 1.25-inch: Explore Scientific Nebula Filter 1.25" H-Beta Range from 478nm to 496nm with peak at 489nm. Transmission 94.5%

H-Beta - Hydrogen is the most abundant element in the universe and many nebulae glow in the light of H-beta. This line filter blocks all other wavelengths (and thereby nearly all of the artificial light) and only the emission line of hydrogen beta will pass. This filter fits all standard 1.25-inch eyepieces and filter wheels.

Nebula Filter Oxygen III 1.25-inch: Explore Scientific Nebula Filter 1.25" O-III Range from 483nm to 511nm with peak at 496nm. Transmission 96.7%

Oxygen III - This is the highest contrast Nebula Filter in the series, a line filter for only the two emission lines of oxygen. A great choice for observations of supernova remnants and other nebulae that glow in OIII. Other types of objects that glow in all parts of the visible spectrum (e.g. galaxies) are reduced visibly, but some normally invisible regions of nebulae are clearly visible. This filter fits all standard 1.25-inch eyepieces and filter wheels.

Nebula Filter UHC 1.25-inch: Explore Scientific Nebula Filter 1.25" UHC Range from 458nm to 508nm with peak at 488nm. Transmission 96.7%

UHC - This is an ultra-high contrast narrow-band filter, designed for observing the broad range of nebulae with 1.25-inch standard eyepieces or filter wheels. The bandpass is tighter than the CLS Nebula Filter, thereby blocking even more light from artificial lights and airglow.

Neutral Density Filter 1.25" ND 0.9: The neutral density filter transmits light uniformly across the entire visual spectrum. It serves as an excellent filter to reduce glare and irradiation when observing the Moon with any telescope 4"(10.2cm) and larger. The ND96 filter may also be employed in the splitting of close double stars where one of the binary pair significantly exceeds the other in brightness. Color Filter #ND96 Moon Filter (0.9 density; 13% transmission)

Nebula Filter CLS 2.0-inch: Explore Scientific Nebula Filter 1.25" CLS Range from 436nm to 536nm with peak at 488nm. Transmission 98.3%

This is a general-purpose light-pollution reduction filter designed for observing the broad range of deep sky objects including nebulae and galaxies. The CLS does a good job of increasing contrast, providing a darker sky background.
